Lake Area Master Gardeners Organization
The on-going Master Gardener Organization is well-established in the lake area. No doubt, you have seen their colorful
handiwork through various landscaping projects. As a Master Gardener, the member must complete 30 hours of community
service every year to maintain their status. With the numerous projects from which to choose, many members submit
many more hours by the end of the year.
Projects over the last few years have included landscaping at nursing home, banks, and local libraries, to name a just
a few. In addition, Master Gardeners are always willing to assist neighbors with landscaping design and gardening questions.
